When local restaurant owners Jessica and Mataio, owners of local restaurant and catering company, Ciao Thyme, contacted Baraa, they had some ideas for what they were interested in seeing go into their new creation, the cafe located downstairs from their catering and cooking class location at 207 Unity St., Bellingham WA 98225. When owner of Baraa, Abe had a meeting of the minds with owners of Ciao Thyme and local metal artist Aaron, with Altility Art Studio, they created a unique NW space for the new cafe. Inspired by a recent visit to Twisp, WA and seeing the metal work on the Twisp River Suites, Abraham contributed some ideas for the collaboration of exposed metal work with vertical grain fir.
The end result of the cafe is a beautiful space to catch a quick bite on your lunch break. Check out the food or the space from 11-3 Tuesday through Friday.
